Small Bathroom Makeover Week 2: Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge

Hi Friends! This week has been super exciting as the bathroom is starting to shape up and look more like an actual room rather than a cluttered corner lol! We had a busy week as the remaining framing was finished today and the built in shelves I have planned are almost finished as well. The plumbing is getting started shortly as well and then we can move onto drywall! Week 2 has been busy!

This might not look like much but I’m so excited to see this progress! This was last week (woof):

And the bathroom this week:

The back wall will have a stand up shower with some built in shelving beside.

This space is going to be quite neutral,

I have wood accents planned and modern floating vanity, well I think… it’s the one part where I’m torn. There are a few options Kiel and I have been tossing around. We’re keeping it cost effective with a lower budget vanity and I’ll be sharing how we turn it into a more high-end looking vanity. I can’t wait! Here are a few of the vanities I’m looking at. Initially I was planning on going with the green vanity but until I see it in person I can’t commit. I’m not sure what the green looks like irl plus it’s Ikea so I can’t vouch on the quality from their website.

Here’s the design plan I shared last week with the green vanity, using gold accents which I love – it’s such a pretty vibe:

And here is the design plan with a more traditional white vanity. Definitely not as jazzy as a fun green vanity top but also, this might feel a bit more like ‘us’ compared to the green one:

Let me know which one you would choose & follow along on my IG @theblushhome!

Have a wonderful week!
