Bathroom Reno Week 3: Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge

Hi friends! It’s week 3 of our 6 week renovation challenge and I’m getting a little nervous just looking at the dates tbh, we’re halfway through and I have so much to do still! Most of what’s happened on our end this week is our plumbing being finished and installed, the inspections completed and drywall being installed. We’re finishing our whole basement during this renovation so there’s lot to do but it’s looking amazing so far and you can see the bathroom start to take shape *yay*!

We decided on a vanity this week!

Which one do you think we went with?? These were some of the ones I shared last week that we were looking at:

In this bathroom renovation, we’re splurging in some areas and saving in others – one place we’re saving is the vanity. Can you believe all of these vanities are under $500??

Bathroom updates:

The vanity was ordered today (although we won’t be putting it in until near the very end). It’ll be nice to have it here and we can build it and get it ready at least. Also, I’m swapping out the pulls and it’s easier for me to decide on which ones to purchase if I can see the actual vanity in front of me 🙂 We also had the plumbing for the vanity moved over to the correct position (it was previously installed about a foot too far to the right) and the other day our electrician was in and wired in the pot lights and sconces! It’s the little things guys, I’m so excited just to see these small changes taking place.

Since we’re relying on contractors for the major things (like I mentioned there’s a full basement reno happening since it was unfinished when we started), it’s been a little stressful seeing my timeline take longer than expected on certain things.

The built in shelves I have planned for beside the shower are almost framed out. They’ll be built forward a touch because as is, they would have been like 3 ft deep lol – which would be ridiculous. So they’ll be around 18″ or so, perfect for function and decor.

I ordered our vanity sconce as well! I can’t wait until it arrives and I can share it with y’all! It’s a secret until then though!

As for the rest of the week,

I’ll be buying most of the remaining finishing pieces.  Make sure to pop over to my Instagram – I’m sharing the whole process over there as well!

Here are some of my favourite bathroom accessories that I’ve come across!

There’s a mix of really affordable accessories as well as some higher end pieces (can you even tell which ones are the lower priced ones though?? I can’t!) As you can see, I’m really into mixing the gold and black metal finishes.
