I’m excited to share my little Lo’s nursery with you – it’s been ever evolving since we moved into our home two years ago, but I love where we have ended up with it. Who else is a big fan of switching up decor? It’s pretty standard around here haha!
We did a little furniture swapping last month, which is what led to the mini refresh in her room. We sold the crib from this room tour here, and moved her big brother’s crib into her room. We also bought a larger white dresser for her, which doubles as a change table.
I diy’d these polka dot stickers and they turned out awesome! I used a package of white circle labels from the dollar store (I actually tried to find black ones literally everywhere and they apparently don’t exist so, I improvised). I took a giant sharpie and coloured over the whole sheet, making black polka dots. Genius! It works like a charm and I ended up with 365 polka dot stickers for $1.25. Crazy right?
I adore this Birth Poster, it’s the most amazing company (The Birth Poster) that makes these to-scale prints of your baby’s length at birth. I’m in love with it, so I hung it as the main photo in her mini gallery wall. (I’m also waiting on some additional prints to fill the frames beside.)
Adding this rug by Lorena Canals to her room added so much personality! It pulled the room together perfectly with the soft pops of pink (and I adore that yellow!), plus I love how a rug over a rug looks. The tassels are really cute and my favourite thing ever is it is machine washable (I haven’t tossed it into my washing machine to try out yet, but I looove that I can!). I’m pretty sure that’s a must when you have little ones crawling all over everything lol! I was also really impressed with the quality and how soft it is under our feet (plus there are no vocs! I unrolled the rug and it was perfect for my little Lo to crawl around on immediately 🙂
I’ve added pops of greenery because plants always add life to a space and I’m a little obsessed with plant hangings (trying not to put one in every room haha).
I love how Lo’s nursery is soothing and cozy, with tons of personality for my little girl. We kept things neutral but fun with the polka dots and area rug, plus the shelfies were so fun to decorate and I love how everything came together.
