Earl’s Recipe Rose Sangria

I am beyond excited to share this recipe with you guys! I have searched high and low for Earl’s delicious sangria recipe (literally some of the best sangria that I’ve had) and always fell short with the actual recipe. It doesn’t exist outside of Earl’s I don’t think lol. I ended up deciding to just try and recreate my own recipe and it’s pretty close if not dead on! It’s a simple sangria, and is fantastic poured over ice and enjoyed on a sunny day. I used strawberries and orange slices for fruit, but some lemon slices, berries or pomegranate seeds would be fantastic in this as well!

You could drink this as is, over a wine glass filled with ice and it would be perfection (this is how I drink mine). Mixing a little club soda in makes it a really lovely, bubbly cocktail that also tastes amazing. Maybe try both ways and see which one is your fave? Earl’s sangria doesn’t have any bubbly in it, and I personally love that way best.

When I made this last night, I used the bottle of rose that I had on hand. I would say go with something more dry than sweet, since juice, fruit and all that is added to the sangria, you don’t want the end result to be too sweet. It’s totally personal preference though.

Rose Sangria

My take on Earl's delicious Rose Sangria recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle rose wine
  • 20 oz white grape juice
  • 3 oz lemon juice
  • oz Grand Marnier
  • oz simple syrup
  • cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 orange, sliced

Instructions

  • Mix everything together in a large pitcher. Let chill in the fridge for several hours before drinking.
Pour over glass filled with ice, making sure some fruit ends up in your glass. You can also top with some club soda for an extra fizz.
    Enjoy!

This is an easy recipe to double or triple if you are having a bbq or party. Don’t add ice to the pitcher though, it will just dilute the bevy (which would be a travesty, let’s be honest). If you make this let me know and tag me on social media @theblushhome 🙂

I was thinking about trying to recreate Earl’s red sangria and white sangria as well – what do y’all think? Can you tell I’m on a cocktail kick? LOL Have a great weekend! xo Megan
