Better late than never I guess LOL. I snapped a few photos last week and thought I would create a little fall home tour for you! I love this time of year because things start feeling extra cozy and hygge and that’s totally my goal in my home! I keep my fall decor fairly simple by adding in a lot of natural elements. I shared a bit about that in this post too. I like to incorporate darker textiles and add in more throws and my faux sheepskin rugs. I also like to decorate with decorative branches and heirloom pumpkins in the house (just a few though!). Eventually, I put up some bats and a few Halloween inspired things which are so fun but honestly this year I didn’t do too much of that and suddenly it’s the end of October and I’ll be taking it all down soon.
Walking into our home…
… (we have a modified bilevel) so you walk up the stairs from the front door into this view. Our floor plan is verrrry open, I try to keep the decor cohesive and not overwhelm this space.
A few pumpkins dot the living room and I made the cute ghost garland as well as the ‘hey boo’ garland (really fun activity to do with the kids – I have it saved to an IG highlight if you want to check that out!).

These bats are my absolute favourite. They’re super affordable, reusable and you can a pack of 100! I used them in our living room as well as my entryway. I think I’ll buy another pack next year and put them on the front door too! They’re plastic so they would be fine for outside as well.
The white mini pumpkins are from the grocery store. You can buy a bunch for around $4 and they’re one of my favourite things to buy every Halloween. They’re too adorable.
A few pumpkins and my favourite black and white kettle make this space feel festive but still minimal.
I hoped you liked this neutral fall home tour! I’ll be sharing easy ways to transition to wintery decor after Halloween so keep an eye out for that post! If you have any questions let me know! Have a great weekend!
x Megan
