Okay but can we all agree this room deserved one l Okay but can we all agree this room deserved one last moment before the moving boxes take over? 🥹✨

I put these @unicurt_curtain_ window treatments up over a month ago before the house sold, and I’m so glad I did because this room is just SO happy.

Bright, colourful + just enough whimsy 🌸☀️🌈 They took about 5 minutes to install and clip in, and less to remove. I love how easy they are and the striped roman shades are so pretty too.

The best part? They’re coming with me! 🙌 Because her new bedroom is currently black and neon pink... choices were made before us 😬 we have some painting to do, but I already know these are going to make the new room just as cute.

For everyone asking, these are:
🤍 Aiden - Natural White curtains (Double Pinch Pleat)
🤍 Blake - Natural Cream Stripes cordless Roman shade

I LOVED putting this before and after together! 👏✨ I LOVED putting this before and after together! 👏✨

This was the first home that was ever truly mine. If you don’t know the backstory, this house holds such a special place in my heart. ♥️ I had just left an abusive marriage when I bought it, and I remember feeling so unbelievably grateful that I could even afford a home of my own.

At the time, things felt really scary and at times, dangerous. This house became a safe place. It was peaceful. My kids could finally breathe.

There was so much happening all at once. The month before I moved in, my dad unexpectedly passed. Losing him decimated us. My mom moved in with me and we both tried to figure out what life looked like, while rebuilding from the ground up.

Looking back now, I honestly don’t know how we got through that season. It felt like everything was happening at once.

I started sharing pieces of my story here and connected with so many women who had been through similar experiences with partners. Talking about it was incredibly healing, and I truly believe it’s so important to share our stories.

My budget was tiny, so this house became a collection of paint projects, sharpie shiplap DIYs, fb finds, and making whatever I had work. Our first dining table? I found it sitting on the side of the road in the rain. We cleaned it up, used it for quite a while, and eventually I found a little solid wood one on fb for $100.

I hosted dinners, had friends over, travelled, visited my sister, the kids made messes and we enjoyed life. All the little things that weren’t really possible in my life before.

This house holds SO much peace for me. It feels filled with love, healing, and fresh starts, and I swear you can feel it the second you walk through the door.

I’ll miss it more than I can put into words, but I’m really proud of what we created here. I hope whoever calls it home next feels even a little bit of the warmth it gave us🤍

MOVING DIARIES: episode ONE 👏😅📦 You guys I move i MOVING DIARIES: episode ONE 👏😅📦

You guys I move in like 2 weeks and haven’t done a damn thing yet. I think it’s time? 😬

I’m going to tackle the office and kitchen in the next couple days too and can absolutely film the before + after (I feel like it will keep me in check bc my procrastination tendencies are telling me it’s completely fine still 🙃)

Anyways, here’s the closet and I’m really exposing the chaos of it all, but this is a very normal closet, right? …. Right???

Okay... I love this room 🥹🌸 It’s cozy, whimsical, Okay... I love this room 🥹🌸

It’s cozy, whimsical, but neutral without feeling boring, and somehow manages to hide approximately 4,000 tiny toys 😅

Definitely one of my favourite spaces I’ve put together. I already know I’m going to miss this little room when we move. 🤍

It’s such a cute little house, I love that in the first pic it looks like I live in an A-frame cabin haha. What’s your favourite update in this space?? I think the checkered floors I did is mine (actually all the flooring updates, what a fricken game changer for the vibe! They had dusty brown laminate every which was when I first moved in)
