Hey everyone! It’s week 4 of the Jeffrey Court Renovation Challenge! I’m more than halfway there with lots left to do! I’m working on tiling hopefully in the next few days (v exciting and I’m also super nervous to tackle this lol!) There’s a lot left to finish up though (lots & lots!)
we started ahead of schedule and now I feel like we’re so behind but honestly, that last week is usually crunch time where everything comes together right? (right??). We have a contractor and workers in working on our full basement during this time as well. They’re doing the framing, drywall, etc lol because I’m 6 1/2 months pregnant, not to mention my skill level doesn’t cover anything remotely handy like that lol!) so a lot of our timeframe is depending on them being here to finish the bulk of the heavy lifting. Unfortuantly, we’ve had some delays with product (a city wide shortage of trim! You can’t make that up!) as well as some no show days so… my fingers are crossed we can get the tile going here asap, which is what I’m most excited to see too!
For a refresher we ordered this tile for the flooring and this tile for the shower & wainscotting!
We’ve had some deliveries this week plus see what I ordered!
Our vanity was dropped off the other day (yay!). Kiel and I will be building that soon plus I’ve placed some orders for finishing hardware (I’m mixing metals in this bathroom with some gold, black and chrome I think – hoping it all looks good together.) I shared some inspo for that in my Week 3 blog post if you want to check that out here! This is the vanity I ordered as well – eek so excited to see this put together!
Since we’re working on our whole basement while this renovation challenge is happening, we have a lot of balls up in the air – this week our drywall went in plus the mudding and tape was completed. We have to let that dry for a few days and then it’s time to start tiling and working on the bathroom shelving! It’s come together so nicely so far – check out these progress photos!
