White washing furniture is one my favourite painting techniques. It’s so easy to do and the effect is so pretty and dreamy.
All you need is some white paint, a paintbrush and a little water. I put a small dollop of a paint in a bowl (I used Powder White by Behr Marquee), followed by a little water. The consistency needs to be runny and the paint opaque.
I painted the legs on a little table I had in L’s room. I love this little table, and really enjoy the raw wood legs, however, they have a bit of an orange hue to them and I wanted to tamp that down a bit. So I flipped the table upside down and lightly brushed on the watered down paint. A little goes a long way and this is a foolproof way to paint. You literally can’t mess this up!
I love how this turned out!
What do you guys think? Is this the easiest way to paint ever? * the answer is yes 😉 *
