I decided to spruce up my bathroom vanity today with this easy diy. I had everything on hand too, so this project was free *yay*
Currently, our bathroom counter looks like this:
It’s just cluttered looking and everything is sort of laying in the tray haphazardly.
I rounded up a few mason jars that were destined to the garage sale pile we have going, grabbed a paint brush and some white acrylic paint and gave the jars a coat of white paint.
After they dried, I lightly sanded over them (loving how they look already!).
I screwed the lids back on without the tops and filled them up with some q-tips, cotton rounds and faux flowers (I love real flowers too but these are so pretty and zero maintenance lol). Our face cloths are stashed in this pretty bucket I picked up from Target ages ago and the planked wood is just a piece of wood that I stained last year (I layered a grey stain underneath a darker, brown stain).
So much better right? I love how pretty and clean it looks now.
(the initial necklace I have is my favourite – I picked mine up from Chapters)

Thanks so much!
Wow! What a difference a little paint makes! I love what you did with the mason jars and have some similar mojo going on in my bathroom. Time to get the paint and the spare jars out! Haha.
