DIY Minimalist Dollar Store Planter

I love when an easy DIY pans out, right? This was so simple to make and the end result is so pretty! I’ve been sharing some of my Dollar Store finds on TikTok and I shared this planter back in the summer with a plan to create a minimalist, elevated planter or decor piece. First, as is these planters are super cute so just grabbing one of them and using it as a pot just like this is totally fine. They actually still have a ton of these in stock (at least our Dollarama in town does) and they come in gray or a terra cotta colour.

I grabbed two of the pots for this DIY. Using some heavy duty glue, I glued the two bases together and let that dry overnight.

I spray painted two coats of a matte black paint and viola! The easiest DIY planter that would look so cute literally anywhere in my home. I think on a shelf this would stand out as is, but using it as a planter would be really cute too.
