I make no secret of my love for Home Sense, and the other day while I was browsing through the store, I came across this pretty little stool. I loved the gold legs and cute fuzzy top, but wasn’t loving the $70 price tag. Especially since I had a stool at home that has been begging for a makeover, so I made my own version! You guys, this DIY was so fun to do and I loved how it turned out, plus it took all of 30 minutes to finish!
I took my stool apart, and gave the metal legs a quick coat of gold spray paint.
Then using some pillow fill from an old pillow (yay reusing materials!) and some faux fur I picked up from our local fabric store, I cut out a rough circle to size. I used hot glue to attach everything, then screwed the base back on.
It’s the cutest little stool ever and I can’t decide where I want to keep it! I spent under $20 for everything and I think it’s a pretty mini version of the stool I found at Home Sense.
