This living room is approximately the size of a ge This living room is approximately the size of a generous walk-in closet 💅🏼 Okay, maybe not quite, but at 130 square feet it’s definitely not winning any awards for size. When I bought this house after my divorce, though, I wasn’t looking for bigger. I was looking for peaceful. Over time I learned that a room doesn’t need to be huge to feel cozy, welcoming, and lived in. It just needs a little intention, a lot of texture, and apparently several rugs 🙃 This house wasn’t the biggest one I’ve ever lived in, but it became one of the most meaningful. Funny how that works. I wasn’t sure if this would end up being too much… I wasn’t sure if this would end up being too much… BUT it’s made my basement sooo cozy! I have just the one window in here too, so don’t be scared painting a dark colour in a room that doesn’t get flooded with natural light. I think with the right elements it can create the most beautiful, cozy, warm room! I made sure to have one larger wall textured and lighter, I went with a beautiful mural wallpaper and added in wood tones to warm this space up! Now, should I have added another row to this gallery wall?
