Fall is officially here, and I’ve been having the best time decorating my home with a few Falloween home decor ideas! I don’t go all out right away (especially in September), but I love easing into the season with natural fall touches, like warm brown tones, cozy throws, and soft layers everywhere. I swapped out a few art prints around the house and even changed the dining room curtains for something that feels a little more autumn-y.
And lately, a few Halloween touches have started sneaking in too. Tiny bats have made their way around the house, I brought out some fun spooky pillows, and of course, there are pumpkins popping up everywhere. Naturally, I had to snap some photos and bring you along for a little Falloween home tour!

Cozy Fall Decor in the Living Room
When I decorate for any season, my goal is always the same: make the space feel lived-in, warm, and inviting. That totally carries into how I approach fall decorating. In the living room, I pulled out a few of my favorite throw blankets and created a little “blanket wall” behind one of the chairs. It’s such a cute way to store them while also adding texture and coziness to the wall.
My living room is on the smaller side, so I’m always trying to use the space creatively. Little details like layered textures and warm lighting make a big difference.

I don’t usually buy a bunch of new seasonal decor each year. Instead, I love reusing what I have or giving it a little twist. For example, I’ve had this metal jack-o’-lantern forever, but this year I turned it into a planter, and I love how it turned out.
And how pretty are these floral pumpkins? They’re soft, feminine, and such an easy way to add a bit of personality to your fall setup.

One of my favorite simple Halloween touches is adding bat cutouts to the inside of a lampshade. When the lamp is turned on, you see the little bat silhouettes glowing through the shade, but when it’s off, they totally disappear. It’s such a fun and subtle trick that makes me smile every time.
Fall Touches in the Kitchen and Dining Nook
The kitchen and dining nook got a few cozy fall updates too. Some pumpkins here, a few bats there, and plenty of warm textures to tie it all together. It feels so homey in here right now, especially when the light hits just right in the morning.

I have a couple of Halloween DIYs I’ve been wanting to try, so fingers crossed they turn out! I’ll be sharing more of those soon, along with more cozy Falloween home decor ideas over on Instagram. Come hang out with me on @theblushhome for all the fall vibes, home inspo, and everyday moments.
Thanks for stopping by and taking my little Falloween home tour with me!
